First Time Homebuyer Program - San Francisco LGBT Community Center

The Center's First Time Homebuyer Workshop series fills up quickly each month. In order to ensure everyone has the same chance to sign up we will open registration for the workshops on the last working day of the month preceding the workshop dates. For example, February workshops will be available for sign up on January 31st. We do not maintain a waitlist so if the workshop you want to attend is full please visit www.homeownershipsf.org/workshops to find another workshop at another agency.

Getting a Homebuyer Education Certificate at the LGBT Center:

To obtain this certificate, participants must attend either the Basics of Budgeting and Saving, or Managing Credit and Debt. If you’re able, we recommend taking both classes as they have complementary information. In addition, participants must take the Nuts and Bolts of Buying a Home; and receive two hours of one-on-one individual counseling.
