Q Groups for LGBTQQ Program - Health Initiatives for Youth

The Health Initiatives for Youth has is a program called “QGroup” in twelve SFUSD high schools for their LGBTQQ students to develop self-esteem, a sense of safety, and belonging. The program consists of weekly 1-hr sessions during the school year with a variety activities that focus on the following topics:- LGBTQQ identity- Healthy relationships- Mental and physical healthGroups meet at the high school Wellness Centers (WCTRs) or School-based Health Centers.
