YAWAV is a yearlong youth leadership program dedicated to the positive empowerment and development of Asian & Pacific Islander high school aged young women in San Francisco. YAWAV youth leaders learn about the root causes and impacts of violence in Asian & Pacific Islander communities. Our goals are to strengthen the resilience, knowledge, and skills of youth leaders so that we can educate our communities.
